You can be serving, building, working, and pursuing good things, yet still feel uncertain about what God is asking of you in this season.Purpose Discovery is a Christ-centered, one-to-one guided journey designed to help you understand your identity in Christ, discern God's calling, clarify your vision, and identify your next building steps.Through prayer, Scripture, reflection, and guided conversation, we will create space to seek God together and faithfully steward what He has entrusted to you.

PURPOSE IS MORE THAN A CAREER

Purpose Begins with God’s call.

Purpose is not something we create for ourselves; it begins with God's call on our lives. Before we consider what we want to do, build, or achieve, we must first seek to understand who God has created us to be and what He has called us to do.Purpose extends beyond our careers, businesses, ministries, titles, and personal ambitions. It encompasses the reason for our existence and guides us in how we are meant to live, serve, steward, and express God's intentions in practical ways.Sometimes, we become so focused on our daily tasks that we overlook the areas where God may be inviting us to pay attention. We might have a vision but lack the understanding of the preparation it requires, or we could be pursuing something good without clarity on whether it's what we should prioritize in this season. Purpose Discovery creates space for us to seek God through His Word, prayer, reflection, and guided conversations. This process allows you to examine where you are, what you believe, what God has entrusted to you, and how you can respond faithfully to His call.

An Invitation to Seek, Discern, and Build

Purpose Discovery is an invitation to pause, seek God, grow in understanding, and discern your next steps for building your life according to His purpose and Heaven's blueprint.

This journey may be for you if:

  1. You desire to understand your identity in Christ and align your beliefs about yourself with God's truth.

  2. You have questions about your purpose, calling, or assignment and want to seek God for greater understanding and direction.

  3. You sense God has entrusted you with something, a vision, a responsibility, a ministry, a business, or an area of influence. Still, you need clarity on what it is and how to steward it faithfully.

  4. You know God is calling you forward, but you're uncertain what He is asking you to focus on in this season.

  5. You have been carrying ideas, dreams, or opportunities for some time but struggle to articulate what God is showing you or how to move forward.

  6. You are navigating a season of transition and want to discern what God is doing and what He may be preparing you for.

  7. You want to grow spiritually, deepen your relationship with God, and become more intentional in how you live, lead, and steward what He has entrusted to you.

WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE TOGETHER

Throughout our journey, we will focus on three interconnected areas: identity, purpose, and vision.We will begin by exploring who God says you are, examining the beliefs, experiences, and perspectives that have shaped your understanding of yourself, and bringing those beliefs into the light of His Word. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we will reflect on what needs to be surrendered, renewed, healed, or aligned with your identity in Christ.From there, we will explore God's calling for your life, why He created you, what He may be entrusting to you, and how you can grow in your understanding of His ways, His Word, and His guidance. Together, we will consider how your gifts, experiences, responsibilities, and areas of stewardship fit within His purposes for this season.Finally, we will turn our attention to vision and practical direction. We will seek clarity around what God may be calling you to build, nurture, develop, or steward, how that vision can be expressed faithfully, and what preparation, growth, or next building steps may be necessary.

As we seek God together, our journey may include exploring:

  1. Identity in Christ: We will examine who God says you are and the beliefs you’ve held about yourself.

  2. Spiritual Growth and Discernment: This involves growing in the Word, engaging in prayer, practicing repentance, and being attentive to the Holy Spirit.

  3. Purpose Discovery: We will explore your calling, gifts, responsibilities, and the unique contributions you are meant to make.

  4. Vision and Direction: Together, we will clarify what you believe God is leading you toward and identify what needs attention during this season.

  5. Personal Alignment: We will identify patterns, mindsets, habits, and limitations that might be impacting your journey and your ability to move forward.

  6. Next Steps: We will translate what you are learning into practical decisions and faithful actions.

Every person's journey is unique. We will not rush through important areas just to stick to a schedule. We Will Approach each session intentionally, allowing time for prayer, reflection, Scripture, and discernment as we work through what matters most in your journey.

Hi, I'm Joy, the founder of Thrive Pathways, and I will be walking alongside you throughout the Purpose Discovery program.I created this program because I believe that discovering your purpose involves more than just identifying your strengths or setting goals. It requires seeking God, understanding who He created you to be, and being open to His revelations. My own journey has shown me how easy it is to carry beliefs, identities, and expectations that do not align with God's Word, and how crucial it is to allow Him to renew our understanding.As your coach, my role is to provide guidance, ask thoughtful questions, explore Scripture with you, and help you reflect on your learning as you seek God. I won't come with a one-size-fits-all formula or claim to have all the answers.
